Why is the site progressing so slow? Because we want it to... We are working on things behind the scenes. As the Zookeeper, I am in charge maintaining the site and the ex-staffers are in charge of cleaning out their attics. Already, they have sent me a ton of material. I am piecing together a year by year history and flying it past them. Once they correct my bad grammar ;) and punch it up with some behind the scenes stuff. You will be seeing the ZOO History unfold as it happened. Already, you see the history unfolding in the links at the left side of your page.

We feel we can offer an entertaining and accurate history of KZEW, but it cannot be done overnight. Many reasons account for this. First, we all have lives and spare time is hard to come by these days. We are all doing this as time permits. Plus I'm not pressing the staffers for time and material. They have been most gracious and I'm not pressing it. Second, there are major players that have not even been contacted yet. The ex ZOO staffers are scattered all across the country and even their old friends don't where they've disappeared to. We think it's a conspiracy, but we can't prove it. Many of the 1980's jocks are easily found, but we haven't contacted many of them yet because we won't be even touching the 80's for about year. Maybe we'll throw a little 80's up there for ya before then... And thirdly and most importantly, if you take your time doing anything, it always turns out better.
